The High Stakes Cheese Steaks Challenge
Last night for dinner we went to High Stakes Cheese Steaks in Brooklyn.
Gluttony and gambling can be a dangerous combination.
Jordan said I couldn't eat a whole cheesesteak and fries. I proved him wrong. Then he said I couldn't eat a second cheeseteak...
I couldn't?
Before the challenge, game face on.
After the challenge. The bangs have been adhered to the side with meat sweats.

Apple Crisp
Jordan went apple picking on Saturday and came back with a bagful of apples. The following are pictures of what he did to those apples.
Jordan loves his flour.
Sugar, flour and cinnamon. This will turn into sweet, crunchy magnificence.
Apples, or sin.
Sin, naked.
Butter. A whole stick.
Apple crisp-licious.

Poets Eat
Yes we do.
We're off to a late start, but some pictures of us cooking and what we've cooked.
Jordan cooking in Southampton.
The orange had to be sacrificed for dessert.
Alas, we only have these pictures of the carmelized plums with a yogurt citrus sauce and toasted walnuts goodness that J made. We were too busy eating to take pictures of it.
Last night I made an okra and tomatoes side dish to go with the turkey kofta I made. I also made a tzatziki sauce and J picked up the best hummus ever.
